Step 1. Downloading Your Feed

After installing the Feedly app, your product feed will begin to download. Once you account is downloaded you will see a message indicating your account has been downloaded.

If there are errors with your products, you will be notified in the Feed Results section.

A.) Click on the error message to view the products that need to be fixed.

B.) Clicking on the product that you want to fix will bring up that products information.

C.) Click the Edit Product to Fix the issues inside of Shopify’s product editor.

Once you have fixed all of the errors your Feed will be updated automatically on Feedly.

Step 2. Google Product Categories

You can set a Default Google Product Category for all of your products in the Default Google Product Category section.

A.) Start typing a relevant keyword in the product category search bar.

B.) Choose the category that best suits the products in your store.

C.) Click Save Changes in the top right corner or Save & Continue after clicking on products.

You can override your default Google Product Category and set specific categories for sets of products by:

Selecting individual products in bulk

A.) Select the products you want to edit on the Products page.

B.) Click Bulk Actions and select Edit Google Product Categories.

C.) Select the appropriate category for the products and click Save.

Searching for specific products

A.) Select your search filter: Title, Handle, Product Type or Vendor.

B.) Type the exact phrase or word associated with the products you are searching for.

C.) Select the products, Click Bulk Actions and select Edit Google Product Categories.

Step 3.Advanced Settings (Not Required for Dynamic Product Ads)

Link Tracking
You can add a Default GET parameter to all URLs by turning on the Link Tracking feature. This will help you track the sales generated from your Dynamic Product Ads.

You also have the ability to set Link Tracking parameters on individual products and product sets by following the same steps we showed you above for editing Google Product Categories on individual products.

Custom Labels
You can assign up to 5 custom labels to your products. Custom Labels help organize your feed and make it easy for you to separate your Feed out into individual Product Feeds based on variables not supported by Facebook Product Sets.

These labels can be added to all of your products or to individual product and product sets by following the same steps shown above for editing Google Product Categories on individual products.

Step 4. Next Login to your Facebook Business Manager account. Once you have logged into your account navigate to Business Settings on the left-hand sidebar and choose Product Catalogs from the dropdown.


Step 5. Once you are on the Product Catalogs page, click Add New Product Catalog and click Create a New Product Catalog

Step 6. Name your product catalog and click Create Product Catalog


Step 7. Choose the Facebook pixel you want to associate with the product catalog and click save (choose the Facebook Pixel you use for your store)

Step 8. Next select your new product catalog and click Add Product Feed.


Step 9. Now you are ready to set up your Product feed.

a.) Name your feed in the box under Feed Name

b.) Set your Feed Currency to match your Store’s Currency

c.) Set your Upload Type to Scheduled Recurring Uploads and click Next

d.) Set your Schedule Uploads to Daily

e.) Enter your Feedly URL in the box under Feed URL

f.) Click Upload and your product feed will be uploaded to Facebook.
